POP! happy or sad?

well, yesterday the 29th batch passed out (as in they left the unit) and we, the 30th batch took over the unit.
so yepps

30th may 2008

10am in the morning, i reached school and we were settling some admin stuff
then at about 10.50 we went to change only to find out that the fall in time was changed to 11.30
then we fall in with hanwen as the contingent commander for the secondary one, yong kang as the contingent commander for secondary two and leh chuan as the contingent commander for the seconday three, which is US! lol we had some rehearsal before we started the real thing.
so the emcee is zixuan, and you can see how nervous he is, LOL
so the parade started
ken sir, the parade commander took over the parade and march in the GOH
inspection of GOH
then fancy drill
then.... throw berets!
leh chuan then gave the command and we marched 14 steps forward, filling in the space
the posts were then announced.
congratz sebastian (: for being the chairman
when all the posts were announced, sebastian asked for permission to march off the parade
bersu....rai! then we marched off.
but one thing to say, if i was standing at the back, i really cant see sebas as the parade commander, LOL
squad leaders took over their squads.
and yea we had a concert at 4.30pm
to 6.30pm
the concert was still okay, except for a few cock ups here and there.
then after the concert was the buffet dinner
followed by a debrief for all ncos by siming sir.
then we went home.


now, i'm thinking. whether we are capable of taking over the unit.
signs of power struggles can be seen.
people rise up to power, and they definitely arent settling for that weeny bit of authority.
they are... going for MORE
they just cant remain modest or humble.
it's like they have to show everyone who's the boss
he isnt the boss but he wants to be.
other people are also starting to get arrogant
i dont know why but yea... things arent turning out the way they are supposed to
i'm afraid i'll have problems working with him
he is like even bossing other squads' squad leaders
he is just sucking up to sebas and hopes sebas will be his back-up
he is an actor
he acts in front of all officers
but i'm telling you, if he dares pushes me too far, it definitely isnt gonna be pleasant.
now i'm telling HIM, yes you. YOU better jolly well know your post and do what you are supposed to do, you jolly well dont poke your nose into others' business
what rights do you have to do that.
